The Q7 has two performance variants. The 45 TFSI® Premium and the 45 TFSI® Premium Plus models are powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder engine. Trims invigorated by this engine can reach a potent output of 261 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque.

For increased capability, the 55 TFSI® Premium, the 55 TFSI® Premium Plus, and the 55 TFSI® Prestige trims are elevated by its 3.0L V6 engine, which provides 335 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. This performance is especially valuable for drivers who want to hitch up and haul a camper or boat as they explore new destinations.

The available towing package enables the Q7's towing capacity. The 45 TFSI® trims can tow up to 4,400 pounds when properly equipped. For increased towing muscle, the 55 TFSI® can haul a maximum of 7,700 pounds when properly equipped.
